What is Seitai?
Seitai is a traditional Japanese holistic therapy focused on structural alignment. Unlike standard massages designed for temporary relaxation, Seitai targets the root causes of physical discomfort by correcting imbalances in the skeletal and muscular systems. By restoring the body to its natural, balanced state, it enhances your body’s natural healing power and relieves chronic pain, such as lower back pain, stiff shoulders, and joint issues.
Certified Rasen Zero practitioner

Takeshi Maeda has been certified as a “Rasen Zero” practitioner.
He studied under Hiroshi Yonezawa, the head and only master of Tenshin Seihō Fugenryū, and received his certification.

Shoryuken’s Unique Approach: "Rasen Zero"
At Iyashidokoro Shoryuken, we take this philosophy a step further through a specialized modality called "Rasen Zero." This advanced technique differs fundamentally from conventional treatments, operating on the core tenets of being completely non-pushing, non-kneading, and requiring no forceful pressure.
We believe that the root of many physical ailments lies within the abdomen (the intestines). Our Rasen Zero technique focuses on lifting and softening sagging, hardened abdominal tissues. This unique approach restores deep blood circulation where the body’s blood is most concentrated, raises core internal temperature, and maximizes your body's innate healing potential.
Why Professional Intervention Over Self-Care?
While self-care practices like yoga and daily stretching are excellent habits, they cannot reach deep tissue adhesions or long-standing circulatory blockages. Furthermore, localized pain—such as in your knees or lower back—is rarely caused by that area alone; it is often a distal symptom of imbalances elsewhere in the body.
We view the body as an interconnected system. Through professional Seitai intervention, we address these deep-rooted structural issues and stubborn circulatory restrictions that self-care cannot reach. This is why we achieve results even where other treatments have failed. We are dedicated to being your "ultimate sanctuary" for releasing persistent pain and reclaiming a healthy, balanced life.

A word from the owner
If hip pain has been wearing you down and a doctor has suggested joint replacement surgery; if your knees hurt so much that standing is a struggle and you are worried about keeping your job; or if you have almost given up—please come visit our clinic.
We have helped many people overcome challenges just like these. Most clients experience a noticeable change after just one session. Our goal is for you to be amazed at how your body feels afterward, to leave with a lifted spirit, and to deepen your awareness of your own body.
The root cause of your discomfort lies in your daily life, and deciding to face and improve those habits is entirely up to you. For those who are ready to take that step and solve their problems themselves, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Questions we often hear
How often should I come?
It depends on your condition, and we will advise you each time. As a guide: about once a week while you are working on improvement, and once or twice a month for maintenance.
Can I use health insurance?
No. To keep our technique at a high level, all sessions are self-pay.
Do I need to book?
Yes — we are by appointment only. Please arrive 3 minutes before your appointment. We have no waiting room, so arriving much earlier may overlap with other guests’ appointments. If you will be late, please contact us beforehand.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move in comfortably, except skirts. We do not provide a change of clothes, so feel free to bring your own.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes. We accept credit cards, and Japanese electronic money as well.
Can you come to me? (Business trips)
Yes. We offer business trips in Japan — for international guests who live in or are visiting Japan — and overseas. The treatment fee depends on the area and the number of people (overseas: the number of days and the number of people), and we will quote the travel and accommodation costs. Please contact us for details. See the business trips page.
