Iyashidokoro Shoryuken will be your last resort for neck pain!

Why are we called the “last resort”?

Here is why people struggling with neck pain trust us as their last resort.

What causes a “straight neck”?

When you keep your head tilted forward for extended periods—at a desk, for example—the muscles at the front of your neck shorten and stiffen, while the muscles at the back are stretched and become rock hard. This is known as a “forward head posture” or “straight neck.”

  1. The muscles around your neck stop functioning properly, placing extra strain on your shoulders, chest, and back.
  2. The movement of your collarbones and ribs becomes restricted. Everything above the ribs feels locked in place, causing physical tension to concentrate below the solar plexus.

If left unaddressed, forward head posture can restrict blood flow to the head, potentially leading to issues such as tinnitus, dizziness, eye strain, or a general sense of unease. It can also worsen rounded shoulders and a hunchback, limit rib mobility, and cause shallow breathing—ultimately resulting in chronic fatigue and poor sleep that heavily burdens daily life.

Before

The weight of the head strains the muscles at the back of the neck, causing them to stiffen and leaving the entire neck and back tense and hard.

As the head drops forward, the muscles supporting it become overloaded and stiff.

The continuous forward tilt of the head places an intense, concentrated load on the back of the neck and supporting muscles.

Overworked muscles in the neck and back become tense, stiff, and rock-hard.

Chronic strain pulls the upper body downward from the abdomen, making it impossible to resolve the issue by simply loosening the neck alone.

After

With the forward tilt corrected, the tension in the back muscles eases and they relax. Range of motion improves as well.

With the head no longer tilted forward, it can be supported effortlessly without straining the front muscles.

Correcting the forward tilt eases tension in the back muscles and significantly improves your range of motion.

Proper alignment allows the head to be supported effortlessly without straining the front neck muscles.

Addressing the core and abdomen lifts the rib cage, resolving the root causes of stiffness and preventing symptoms from returning.

An original approach that reaches deep into the body

We start deep in the abdomen to reduce the load concentrated below the solar plexus. By addressing the core, we lift the rib cage, while loosening the tight muscles of the chest, shoulders, and back to relieve the strain on the neck. We work thoroughly down to the deep tissues around the shoulder joint. Finally, we release adhesions in the stiff muscles around the neck and improve blood flow upward, allowing the hardened neck muscles to naturally relax.

After a session, many clients share feedback such as:

  • “My head feels clear and my vision is brighter.”
  • “My complexion is better and my eyes look more open.”
  • “Breathing is easier and my chest opens naturally.”
  • “My hunchback has improved, and my posture feels better.”

You no longer need to worry alone. If you are dealing with these troubles and want to resolve your neck pain, leave it to us.
